What is a weekly budget calculator?

A weekly budget calculator turns your monthly plan into a weekly spending number — helpful if you shop weekly or want smaller, easier targets.

Enter monthly take-home pay, fixed monthly bills, and monthly savings. The calculator divides what is left across an average week (~4.33 per month).

(Monthly income − Bills − Savings) ÷ 4.33 = Weekly spending

Real-life example (try this in the calculator)

Taylor takes home $4,200/month, pays $1,850 in fixed bills, and saves $500.

Line item Amount Calculator field
Monthly take-home $4,200 Monthly take-home pay ($)
Fixed monthly bills $1,850 Monthly fixed bills ($)
Monthly savings $500 Monthly savings ($)
$4,200 − $1,850 − $500 = $1,850/month for variable spending → about $427 per week.
